An opportunity in 122 years!

Tomorrow (8th of June) you will be able to view the Transit of Venus; the first time since 1882.

Venus will appear in front of the sun as a black dot at 7:39 am (GMT) and will be visible to the naked eye until 1:30 pm (GMT). Remember not look directly at the sun (even with sun glasses or any lenses) as it will damage your eye’s cornea.

I hope most of you will be able to see it, since this wont be happening again until the Earth and Venus are align with the each other and the sun. You might be able to see it in 2012 but is a slim chance, if not and you stumble across immortality along the way, you can wait until 2117 to see it again.
